Welcome to our about page, so you want to know more about Ichiplayer huh? Well, we’re a tiny gaming website that’s built and maintained by a couple from Lebanon, a tiny country in the middle east.
But why? Well it’s simple, we love gaming as much as you do, and Ichiplayer is our way of sharing our passion with the world.
Starting all the way back in 2019, and drawing inspiration from a love of Japanese culture, other gaming media websites, and a love of creating content, we decided to create Ichiplayer, with Ichi meaning the number 1 in Japanese. The idea was that Ichiplayer (1-player) would be solely focused on single player games.

And during the last two years, we’ve taken a bit of a break from Ichiplayer. A lot happened, we moved to France, moved in together and basically started our lives all over again, and gaming was put aside for a while.
