Yakuza inspired brawler, Streets of kamurocho:

Next up on the list is a mini-game called Streets of Kamurocho. Inspired by brawler games like Streets of Rage, and paying homage to the Yakuza series (also known as ryu ga gotoku in Japan). Streets of Kamurocho will have you mowing down thousands of thugs.

Playing as the Yakuza series’ typical protagonists Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima. Set in the titular district of Kamurocho that fans of the series have grown to be so fond of. If you want to read more about the Yakuza, check out our preview of the latest installment that will be released next month, Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Streets of Kamurocho will be available to download on the 17th of October — but beware, you’ve only got till the 19th to claim it.

Golden Axed

Apparently, Sega Studios Australia was working on a series of reboots of a few classical Sega games. Known collectively as the Sega Reborn series — they included 2.5D reboots of some of our favorite childhood games such as Golden Axe, Altered Beast, and Streets of Rage. Unfortunately, Sega Studios Australia closed down before the series saw the light of day.

As a treat, Sega contacted them and dusted off a demo of the reboot of Golden Axe. Which they are giving away for free on the 18th. It will be available for a day only.
